I am a Chartered Financial Planner and have eight years’ working experience in the UK financial services profession. Although I am not an adviser, I specialise in providing technical support to advisers regarding pension planning, wealth management, inheritance tax planning / tax planning, financial planning and cashflow planning.
Outside of work
I like to spend my spare time with my loved ones as well as pursuing my interests, which include reading, socialising, travelling and sports. My favourite sport to follow is cricket.
However, the sport I participate in most actively is climbing/bouldering. I really enjoy the mental and physical challenge it provides, and I’ve been struck by the friendly camaraderie within the climbing community – strangers are genuinely happy for you to succeed (often providing guidance) irrespective of the level at which you can climb.
On an ideal weekend, you can find me:
Enjoying nice food and great company!
My favourite holiday destination is:
Anywhere in Asia.
My favourite song to play in the car is:
‘Seven Nation Army’ – The White Stripes.
The first album I bought was:
‘The best of’ – Blur.
If I could be any fictional character, I would be:
If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:
A warm smile. Sense of humour. Friendliness.
My pet peeve is:
The best gift I’ve ever received is:
My grandad regularly saved a small amount of money and gave it to me as an 18th birthday present. It instilled in me a respect for saving and investing which I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
The three people at my dream dinner party would be:
Leonardo Da Vinci. Marie Curie. Aristotle.
The three small things that make my day better are:
Laughter. Loved ones. Dinner.
My proudest moment in financial planning was:
Being in a meeting with a client and an adviser and seeing the relief and happiness in the client once they realised that they could now retire and live the retirement they wanted, rather than stay stressed in a highly paid job. It’s what financial planning is for – allowing clients to realise their aspirations by providing guidance and reassurance.
The three things I love most about my job are:
Analysing various technical information. Putting together a great plan. Working with my colleagues.
The types of people I most enjoy working with are:
Friendly, but driven people. People who want to be the best they can be.
